You show a gleaming metal sword and keep it aside. You
then ask three volunteers to pick a card each from a deck of card. The
cards are then shuffled back into the deck.
A volunteer is asked to throw the deck of cards in to
the air, and as the cards start flying into the air you take the sword and
stab it in the air. Three cards are found impaled on the sword, these are
the same three cards selected by the volunteers. The cards can be handed
out for inspection.
Some amount of force is required for this trick.
If you are like me and don't like to create a mess on
your performance area, you would just ask the volunteer to pretend to
throw three cards into the air and then stab in the air with the sword.
Either way it is a very effective trick.
This is a very well made prop that is priced at fraction
of the cost of other Card Swords. The sword is made of brass and is nickel
plated to a high glossy metallic shine. The Card sword measures around 29" from top to bottom.
The base of the card sword assembly is detachable for easy storage and
transport.
